Warm Wishes

Good morning everyone, it’s Belinda here this morning to share a card with you using the new Winter Bird House stamp set.

Winter Bird House

To get my card started I need to create my background panel.  Using the supplies in the below picture, Super Adhesive Sheets, Sparkling Sand Flocking and a embossing folder the panel was create.

Winter Bird House

Here is a finished background panel.  The soft sparkle is so pretty!!

Winter Bird House

Next the image was stamped and colored using Tombow markers along with Tattered Angel Pearl Mist instead of water.  This created a beautiful watercolor look along with some soft shimmer.

Winter Bird House

Sparkle was then added using Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Sparkling Snow and Waterfall glitter.  Small drops of Green Apple Crystal Drops were added to the bird feeder let dry and then Glossy Accents were placed on top of the Crystal Drops to give a glass look.  Drops of White Crystal Drops were added to the image panel.

Winter Bird House

The sentiment was stamped and glittered using Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Waterfall glitter.  Small branches were die cut using Heartfelt Creations die and a pull ribbon was added to the top right corner.  This is a beautiful stamp set, be sure to stop by the store to see all the new stamp sets.

Thanks so much for stopping by have a wonderful day!

Stella – Happy Meds

Stella Happy Meds 796

Anne here and today I’m sharing a card created with one of the new stamp sets revealed this month: Stella – Happy Meds.  This image should definitely make you smile. 🙂

After stamping the image and coloring it with Copic markers, I added Dimensional Glue and Sunny Daze glitter to various letters. I also outlined other words with a red Multi-liner to make them pop a bit more. The pink pills and Stella’s glasses were covered with Glossy Accents for a real shine.

Stella - Happy Meds1

To create the mat, I used the lacy background technique with Sticker Paper, lace, and Sunny Daze and Blue Haze glitters. This is such an easy and fun technique and with so many variations, depending on the style of lace and the colors of glitter you use. For some reason, this one reminds me of a leopard print, even though the colors are different.

For embellishments, I created my own glitter ribbon using 1/2″ Tear-ific tape and Blue Haze glitter and added a few Nuvo Crystal Drops (Navy Blue) as accents. Crystal Drops also accent the corners of my lacy background. The background matting behind the focal point was dry embossed with a Crafters Companion embossing folder (Hessian) for a bit of texture.

IMG_9919 IMG_9920 IMG_9921

First I started by making my background. I took the sentiment stamp from “The Christmas Skate” stamp set and randomly stamped it across my paper using Versamark Ink.  Then, I sprinkled on the Mojito Marbled Embossing Powder and heat set, making my own patterned paper background!  I set that aside and sent to work on my coloring.  I stamped the skate image using Versamark and used Black Detail Embossing Powder to create my outline.  I took my TwinTouch markers and colored in the image (I like to use the Stamp Card as a guide to help me with my coloring! 😉 ). ONce I was done, I die cut out the entire image using a large oval.  I added some Reflection Velvet Glitter to the skate blades using my Quicky Glue Pen as my adhesive.  The Glue Pen is always an essential product to have on hand!

IMG_9923 IMG_9922

To make the glitter background piece, I took a piece of Sticker Paper and die cut out a large Label Frame.  I removed the protective backing and sprinkled on the Victorian Christmas Glitter, burnishing well with my finger tool!  I mostly did the edges as I knew the middle would be covered by the skate image and I don’t want to waste my beautiful glitter!

IMG_9932 IMG_9933

Once my glitter was well burnish, I took a few strips of 1/4″ Tear-ific Tape and attached the colored skate image to the glittered background sticker paper and then again to the background.  I tied 2 pieces of the MonAmiGabby Pull Ribbon around the card panel and made the gorgeous bow. I just love pull ribbon, don’t you?

The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock using Versamark Ink and embossed with Black Detail Embossing Powder.  I die cut it out using a smaller oval and then gently rolled the edges into my Versamark Pad.  I sprinkled on Moss Star Embossing Powder and heat set. I popped up the sentiment using Foam Squares and then attached the entire card panel to my base using Tear-ific Tape.

To finish the card, I used my Ruby Slippers Nuvo drops to create “brads” in the corners and I created a holly leaf & berries next to the sentiment using Woodland Green Crystal Drops & Ruby Slippers Glitter Drops.

I hope you are inspired to get a start on your Christmas Cards now – I sure am!

Until next time,

The Simple Wild Rose

A rose is one of my favorite flowers and since I am in Omaha right now, visiting with my mother, I am really enjoying all her roses.  She has so many bushes and even climbing roses.  She also has some lovely pink wild roses.  There is something about their delicate look that is so appealing.  I tried to tie that into today’s card featuring the Wild Rose set and simple white layers with elegant lines.

I started with a white layer with the right side punched by a border punch.  A piece of sticker paper was layered behind it and Ballerina Velvet Glitter was added.  This was layered on the white card base.

The Wild Rose image was stamped with Jet Black StazOn ink on watercolor paper and colored with Zig Watercolor Markers.  The sentiment was stamped beneath the image and this was die cut with a Spellbinders’ Labels Seventeen Etched Die and layered on top of a slightly larger white die cut and added to the card front.  Dots of Sunny Daze Glitter was added to the flower centers, using a glue pen.

Along with this lovely floral image, this set comes with four sentiments making it great to use for a variety of occasions.

Roses Squeeze Box

Roses 784

Anne here with a new post showcasing the single stemmed roses from the Roses stamp set revealed this month and the Tonic Studios Diamond Favour Squeeze Box.  The squeeze box die set has a whopping 17 dies included so that you can mix and match inserts as well as cutting edges.  When you squeeze the sides of this box, it opens up into a square so that you can fill it with some little goodies.

Rose Squeeze Box1 - SNS

I used some Super Adhesive Sheets and the kiss cut technique for each of the focal panels. After die cutting and removing the background area release paper, I covered the adhesive with Cloud Nine velvet glitter, burnishing it in with my finger tip. After removing the remaining release paper, I covered the adhesive with Sparkle N Soft flock (Glistening Emeralds) and burnished it in with my finger. These panels are so soft and smooth that you can’t help but run our fingers all over them.

For the Roses, I stamped both single stem roses that come in the stamp set, colored them with Copic markers, and then fussy cut each of them. I added a bit of Bubble Gum glitter around the edges of the petals.

The four triangular side panels were also die cut from a Super Adhesive Sheet. All were covered with Cloud Nine velvet glitter.

Rose Squeeze Box2 - SNS

On the back side, I used a different cutting edge for the center panel, but used the same kiss cut technique and products as the front panels.

The sentiment, which is part of the stamp set, was stamped with black ink and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder. I also used a Sakura glue pen to draw a fine line of glue around the edge of the die cut and added more Cloud Nine velvet glitter to give it a bit of sparkle.

This squeeze box is such a fun die cut and there are so many options for cutting it and so many ways you could embellish it. I think it would make a great treat bag or gift bag. It’s approximately 4 1/2″ tall once it’s assembled (and assembling is so easy.)

Are you like me and can never have enough flower images?  Have you seen the new Nasturtium #1 and Nasturtium #2 stamp sets?  They are a must have with easy to color floral images and a variety of sentiments included.  Today’s card features the Nasturtium #1 digital image and stamped sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink in the center of a piece of white cardstock and heat embossed it with Sparkle Embossing Powder.  Then I stamped it a second time with Versamark Ink and added Merlot Velvet Glitter.  When I heat set it the 2nd time, the glitter settles into the embossing powder so it will stay in place when it cools.  This way the sentiment color will match the glitter I used throughout the card.  This piece of cardstock was edged with 1/4″ Double Sided “Tear-ific” Tape and layered on the white card base.  Merlot Velvet Glitter was added to the exposed adhesive to create the look of another layer.

I die cut Tutti Designs’ Butterfly Oval from sticker paper.  I slowly removed various sections of the top protective layer to add Merlot,  Blue Jewel, Sunny Daze, and Pistachio glitters.  This sparkly oval die was layered around the sentiment.

I printed out the digital version of the Nasturtium flowers twice, colored with Copic Markers, and fussy cut.  To give them sparkle to go with the die cut, I covered each flower with Versamark Ink and Sparkle Embossing Powder.  I used a stencil tool lightly shape the flowers and adhered them over the smaller flowers on the die cut.

Thank you for visiting the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog!

Love With All Of Your Heart

Good morning, it’s Belinda here to share a Z-fold card with you using the newly released Nasturtium #1 and #2 stamp sets.

Love all of your Heart

To start the card base I used a Prima stencil along with gelatos.

To create the border pieces I stamped the image with versamark and embossed using Black Detail EP.  The images were then colored using Spectrum Aqua Markers, and adhered to the center strip. Micro beads were added to the center of each flower.

Love with all of your Heart

For the center panel, I used the image from the Nasturtium #1 stamp set. It was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored using Copic Markers.  Micro beads were used for the center of each flower.  Along all of the edges of the card glitter was applied using a glue pen and Aqua Marine glitter.

The butterflies were die cut using Stampin Up butterfly die.  Copper Penny and Green Apple Crystal Drops were used on the butterfly spots.

For the sparkly butterfly, I used a Dreamweaver’s Butterfly stencil and sticker paper.  The back of the stencil was covered with coconut soap and placed on top of the sticker paper.  Using Sunset, Tiger Orange and Sunny Daze the butterfly was glittered.  The stencil was removed and the remaining areas were covered with Bronze Splendor glitter and fussy cut around. A row of Want 2 Scrap pearls were added to the center.  The sentiment was stamped with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and fussy cut around.

love with all of your Heart

A look at the card open.

Hi! It’s Eret here to share a Christmas card with you.

A Winter Cardinal

This beautiful bird is from A Winter Cardinal Stamp Set #518. It is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink to the white cardstock. I colored it with Promarkers. To the pine needles I added Meadow Spark glitter with Sakura Glue Pen. His beak, eye and claws are covered with Dimensional Glue. It will dry clear and it keeps the dimension.

A Winter Cardinal

Frame around the bird is a Want 2 Scrap chipboard from Vintage Fancy Frames set. I inked it with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Super Thick Gold Embossing Powder. After first layer of EP was melted I added another coat of ink and EP, and melted the powder again.

A Winter Cardinal

I colored piece of white cardstock with Jade Nuance water-soluble powder and die cut two branches with a die from Creative Expressions Holly Sprays set. I added bit more color to them with Pine Needles and Peeled Paint Distress Inks. I colored berries with red marker and added Dimensional Glue on top.

A Winter Cardinal

To make the illusion that Holly sprays are tied together I added a bow on top of their meeting point. It’s made with Mon Ami Gabby Iridescent/Gold 1/8″ Pull Ribbon.

A Winter Cardinal

Background layer is very simple – I just covered Sticker Paper with Celestial glitter. Leftover glittered Sticker Paper was used to decorate the inside of the card.

Good morning, it’s Belinda here to share a project using Donna’s Stylin Sayings digi stamps set.

To create my easel card I used Spellbinder’s Majestic Labels Twenty Five.  The first panel was die from white cardstock and super adhesive sheets.  Once die cut the backing was removed and the opening were glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.  The next layer was die cut using green cardstock and placed on top of a piece of sticker paper and the openings glittered using Sparkling Snow.

The thanks sentiment was printed and die cut.  The 3 layers adhere to the card base using pop dots.  Vellum flowers and leaves were placed using pop dots.  A small Mon Ami Gabby Silver Pull Ribbon was added behind the flowers.

For the inside of the card the smaller  2 oval was die cut and the steps were repeated using sticker paper and glitter.  The ovals were then layered together using pop dots.  Small vellum flowers and a bow were added.

A look at the card closed.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Shake the Numbers

Hi! Greetings from Estonia. It’s Eret here to share a simple and fun shaker card.
I used digi version from new Disco Girlfriends stamp set. I made the sentiment bigger and printed it out to the white cardstock. I inked all around the sentiment with Broken China Distress ink.

Shake the Numbers

Inside the shaker are micro bead, flower sequins and glittered numbers. Numbers are die cut with MemoryBox Classic Numbers dies out of Sticker Paper. I covered the numbers with three different glitters: Easy Green, Cherry Lemonade and Pinkerbell. For the window I used piece of Embossable Clear Acetate.

Shake the Numbers

Journal Mixed Media stamp set was used to stamp the circles with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Firefly embossing powder.

Shake the Numbers

Flowers are also digis from the Disco Girlfriends stamp set. I changed the color to three different shades of purple and printed them in two sizes. With Sakura Glue Pen I added  Lavender Iris glitter to most flowers.  Flowers without glitter was glued to the inside of the shaker window. Rest of the flowers was adhered to the window frame. I also added pieces from Mon Ami Gabby small and large Pearl Mesh  to the center of flowers.

Shake the Numbers

Frame is die cut out of green cardstock with Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles dies.
