The clouds, sun,  puddle and umbrella were also cut using the Silhouette.

Give A Girl The Right Shoes

Good morning everyone, hope you are having a good start to your day!!  It’s Belinda here this morning with a layout using the newly released Ballet stamp set.  In this layout the sentiment is the only stamp used, and it fits this layout perfectly. These sweet little feet are my precious grand daughter’s!

The cardstock was prepped using gesso.  Once the gesso was dry I placed a stencil on top of the  layout and applied  Dreamweaver Embossing paste.  Once the stencil was removed a light dusting of Sparkling Snow was applied for a bit of sparkle.  I repeated the stenciling using a different stencil with Memento Sweet Plum ink.  Dimensional Glue was applied to the inked stencil randomly and micro beads were added. Color was added to the background with small pieces of gelatos mixed with water and lightly misted around the page.

A Chipboard Dolly was inked using versamark and embossed using Velvet Sparkle EP.  Strips of cardstock were embossed, stenciled and layered behind the photo.  A small journaling tag was cut and embossed.  The star frame was cut using my Silhouette.  It was inked with versamark and embossed with Tinsel EP.  Sparkle was added to the shoes using a glue pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.

The Ornamental Tag One from Spellbinders was die cut and the sentiment stamped using versamark and embossed with Black Detail EP.  I took a glue pen to the swirls and flower and glittered them with Orchid glitter.  Liquid Pearl White Opal was added to the center of the flower.

The orchids were die cut using Spellbinder Die D-Lites Orchid.  Color was added to the centers using copic markers.  Lavender Iris glitter was added to the edges with a brush and Brushable Glue.

Merry Christmas Layout

Good evening everyone, I hope you have had a wonderful crafty weekend and are ready to greet the week with cheer!  Today I have a layout made with some wonderful products from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

My papers are My Mind’s Eye, a collection from a couple of years ago. I pulled some chipboards, flowers and ribbons from my stash to put my layout together.

I applied 2 1/2″ Tear-ific Tape to cardstock, cut my sentiment on my Cameo, applied Japanese Lacquer EP and heat set.

After coloring my large star from Technique Tuesday with Gelatos, I randomly stamped it with the Journal Mixed Media stamp set and VersaMark, and heat embossed with Pear Star EP. The sentiment here is from Camera Life, and I have heat embossed it with Black Detail EP.

I love adding little bits of lace and ribbon to my layouts, and these styles that are new in the shop at Sparkle N Sprinkle are perfect for my style!

Halloween Cuties Layout

Hi Everyone! It’s Designer Anita here today to share a layout with you

using some fun new Halloween Stamps.
I have very few Halloween photos of my little ones, so the ones I do have are so precious to me! They were 3 and 5 here. I have used the new Authentique papers for this layout and I love that little border of witches that I used right behind my photo!
For my title I have used Camera Life and heat embossed it with Concord Star.
I used the Witches Brew stamp set and the same EP for my sentiment. I used Clementine EP on the middle layer of my die cuts. To add a little sparkle to my border I used Purple Rain GL and 1/8″ Tear-ific Tape. For the double layered hexagons, I applied 2 1/2″ Tear-ific Tape to my paper, punched it out, burnished with Cloud Nine GL, and adhered with foam tape.
For my border I did some punching, layering and sewing with my machine.
I used Flourishes 2 in the corner and heat embossed with Detail Black EP.  I added a spritz of silver spray ink.

Hello Sparkly friends!

This is Emmy with a new post for you today!

This will be my last post as a design team member for Sparkle N Sprinkle. And though it fills me with sadness that all good things must come to an end, just thinking about my time in this amazing team will brighten my days as I go and explore the new challenges in front of me!

So, here it is my final project for Sparkle N Sprinkle {but of course I won’t stop using their amazing products and you will see many more sparkly projects on my blog}:

For my layout I used various pattern paper, chipboard pieces and cardstock {for the flowers}, as well as a lot of sparkly embossing powder and glitters from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

To create the pattern on the background I used a masking template with a mixture of G1030 Fascination Glitter and EP429 Mediterranean Star.

I created the flowers using stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations. I stamped the flowers with Versamark Ink onto white cardstock and heat embossed the set using SNS EP332 Country Blue embossing powder. After the embossing powder has cooled down, I die cut and assembled the blossoms.

For the leaves I used white cardstock, Versamark Ink and EP351 Sage embossing powder.

For my title I used a chipboard frame with the work FRIENDS cut into it. I filled in the letters with EP429 Mediterranean Star.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post!

And don’t forget to join the SNS team in the new October reveal blog hop on 1st of October.

Simply Beautiful

Good morning everyone, it’s Belinda here with a new layout to share with you today!

The background paper for this layout was created using stencils, embossing paste, stamps and gelatos.  The new Wonky Lines Background stamp was used on this background.  I also used the pretty Mon Ami Gabby diamond mesh to add some pretty sparkle.

To create some of the background and layers the Journal Mixed Media stamps were used.

This cute frame was cut using the Silhouette files.

The butterflies were all glittered using brushable glueWaterfallBubble Gum and Lemonade glitter.

To create the sparkly butterfly see SNS tutorial for coloring on glitter.  It really creates a beautiful look!

The paper flowers were all distressed using gesso.

To create the watermarks, I used a empty toilet paper roller, inked it with brown ink and stamped onto layout.

The layers behind the photo were created using Travel Mixed Media and the Crackle Background stamp.

You can find the complete details on how to create this layout on my SNS Gallery.

Have a wonderful day, see you soon!

Christmas Goodies Layout

Happy Sunday all my blogging friends!

It’s designer Anita here today to share a layout with you using some of the yummy new Christmas theme stamps from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

We love to bake during the holidays at our house, so the new Sweet Holiday #655 Stamp Set is perfect!
I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed with Silver Detail EP, then filled in the outline with a marker.
I stamped the Gingerbread Man with Brown VersaMark ink, then colored with pastel pencils and added black rhinestones for the buttons. I stamped directly on top of my glitter using the new Wonky Lines Background to create my punched border strip.
I used the Christmas Delight Digi along with my Silhouette Cameo to create my title.
I covered a piece of chipboard with 2 1/2″ Tear-ific Tape, then burnished with Goldenrod and Luau Green Glitters.
I am so excited that Sparkle N Sprinkle will now be stocking Mon Ami Gabby products in the store!
I love bling, and these products are fabulous. I always run for their booth at convention 😉

All Things Grow Better with Love

Hi everyone! It’s Anita here today and it is my turn to share a project with you using fabulous Sparkle N Sprinkle products!

I have a layout today that I created using some very young photos of DD2 and some very pretty stamps!

The Garden Fairies Stamp Set was just so cute- I knew as soon as I saw it that I needed to create something with it!

I used the vine to create a border above and below my cut papers- a subtle but effective way to add detail.

I stamped my tags with Crystal Medallion and heat embossed with Lilac Spark EP. I added some Memories Mist in Bright Gold to bring out the embossing. I used Super Adhesive Sheets and Spellbinder’s dies to cut the frames behind the photos, then burnished them with Dogwood Rose GL- LOVE this color!!

I stamped the mushrooms and fairie from Garden Fairies multiple times, colored and cut out. I layered them over and under my chipboard piece using pop dots on some for more dimension. I used Pear EP on the chipboard piece.

Here is a close up of the vine stamp- I used a chalk ink to make it really stand out.

Forever Yours

This last week my parents celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.  Since I live quite far from them, I could not be with them but took some time to look over some older pictures I had.  Though I do not do a lot of scrapbooking, I really wanted to do something special to celebrate this day and decided to create a layout.

I started with a piece of white cardstock, stamped the Leafy Flourish along two opposite sides with Versamark ink, and added Skylight embossing powder.  After heat setting, I distressed the edges, sponged them with Antique Linen, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, and Spun Sugar Distress Ink, and layered on tan and cream cardstock.

I had the photo printed with a brown tint to give it a more aged look.  I layered it on a piece of cream cardstock with Skylight EP added around the edges, using the Distressed Embossing Technique.  This was layered on another piece of tan cardstock and added to the center of the layout.

I stamped and embossed the Leafy Flourish two more times, cut these out, and adhered them on two corners of the picture.  Using Mega Tack glue, I added some handmade flowers.

I die cut a doily from sticker paper and covered it with Bridal glitter.  This glitter has a gorgeous, rich, creamy shimmer.  I sponged the edges with just a little Antique Linen distress ink and tucked it under the bottom corner of the picture.  For the sentiment, I stamped the “Forever Yours” from the Floral – Swamp Rose stamp set with Rich Cocoa Memento ink on cream cardstock and die cut.  This was layered on a slightly larger decorative die cut that was covered with Versamark ink and Skylight EP and heat set.

The “LOVE” was cut out with an electric die cutting machine.  I covered the letters with SNS Brushable glue and added Bridal glitter.  After letting it dry, I sponged the edges with Antique Linen distress ink and popped up at the top with dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you are in the Duluth, Georgia area this Friday and Saturday, make sure you come see us at the Scrapbook Expo Convention.  Margaret, our Glitter Queen, will be demoing all the wonderful techniques using the Sparkle N Sprinkle glitters, embossing powders, and adhesives and I will be teaching several fun and creative card and scrapbooking classes. We would love to see you there!

Live Layout

Hi everyone, I hope you had a fabulous weekend!

It’s Anita here today to share a project with you.

This photo is my beloved Gussie in 1930- she was 15 years old!

I started by layering and distressing my background papers and fussy cutting some elements from another sheet of patterned paper. I stamped with Flourishes 2 in the upper right corner.

For this piece, I masked off the inside of the image and stamped the outer edge with the Crackle Background stamp, then heat embossed with Pearl EP.

For the birdcages I stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with Shimmer SP. The butterfly is from stamp the new Fancy Butterflies set- I love it!
