Sakura Glue Pen

For Someone Special

Merry Christmas everyone! The card I share Today is not overly Christmas looking but I think it is suitable for the occasion.

I used Build A Wreath Digital Stamp Set to make the card. It’s fantastic set. You can build your own uniqeu wreaths. I chose the sprig wreath and added leaves and berries. It was time consuming process. But only because I had to make it twice… Right after I finished placing all the leaves and berries to the wreath, and I was happy with the result, I wanted to save my work but computer froze. So, I took a camera and made a photo of my computer screen. After computer was restarted, I imported the photo to computer and used it as a reference guide. At least I didn’t had to re-think placement of the leaves again. But despite everything, it was fun to play with this stamp set.

Image was colored with Promarkers. To the berries I added Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops. It dries clear and leaves nice dimensional shine.  wreath and the sentiment are cut out with Silhouette machine.

Lavender Iris Glitter was adhered to the bow with Sakura Glue Pen.

On the background I used wooden pattern paper. To add some interest I made score lines to it and added Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Inks directly to paper. I also sprinkled Super Thick Silver Embossing Powder on top and heated with a heat tool from underneath until powder melted. I also added drops of Wisteria Purple Nuvo Crystal Drops to the pattern paper.

Edged of the pattern paper was distressed with scissors. I took a white lace and colored it with Shaded Lilac Distress Ink. Lace was placed to peek out underneath the pattern paper.

If you like Build A Wreath Digital stamp set but prefer rubber stamps, I recommend to keep your eyes open on New Year 😉

Wishing Ewe a Wonderful Day

Will Ewe Be Mine 813

Anne here on the blog today and I’m featuring the new Will Ewe Be Mine stamp set released this month. There are several different sentiments, so it’s for more than just for Valentine’s. I combined two of the sentiments for an all-occasion type of card.

Will Ewe Be Mine 813

I stamped the image twice so I could fussy cut out their heads and pop dot them onto the main image. These cute guys were colored with Copic markers and the hearts and string were outlined with a red Copic multiliner before being covered with Neon Flamingo glitter.

The image was then die cut using the new Sizzix/Tim Holtz Snowglobe die set. The strip at the bottom of the globe and the outside edge of the globe was covered with Cloud Nine velvet glitter.

As I mentioned before, I used two of the sentiments and stamped them together on one line. The stamps were stamped with Memento Ink (Rose Bud) and then quickly covered with Clear Detail embossing powder. Even though this is a dye ink, if you act quick enough, you can heat emboss with it. (Have you container of embossing powder open and ready to pour as soon as you’ve stamped!)

Will Ewe Be Mine 813

The sentiment was then die cut using the Fishtail Flags die from My Favorite Things. I also added a couple of pop dots under the die cut and wrapped a strip of 1/8″ Tear-ific Tape around the end. I added more Neon Flamingo glitter to the top and used the tape that was wrapped underneath the flag to adhere to the card base.

Call Me Witch

Hi! It’s Eret here to share a card I made with a Sparkle N Sprinkle new Stella – Call Me Witch Digital stamp set.

Call me Witch

Image was printed out and colored with Promarkers. I cut the image with scissors and left a narrow white border all around. This helps her to stand out from the background and makes the cutting a lot easier. To sparkle up her outfit I used Sakura Glue Pen with Aztec Gold and Hyacinth glitters.

Call me Witch

Stella’s hair are ‘re-colored’ with Sakura Glue Pen and Elephant Gray  flocking. Her glasses are covered with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Call me Witch

Sentiment is also from the same digital stamp set. I covered the word ‘witch’ with Sakura Glue Pen and added Hyacinth glitter on top. Edges of the sentiment layer is made the same way. The extra star is cut out and covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Aztec Gold glitter.

Call me Witch

Because my card was very sparkly I didn’t want to add many embellishments. I just added White Nuvo Crystal Drops to the card base.  Some of them was covered with Aztec Gold glitter while they were still wet.

Call me Witch

Background was fun to make. I adhered 2 1/2″ Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to the thick cardstock and used Spellbinders Contemporary Diamonds die to cut a shape through the protective sheet of the tape. I removed almost every piece of the protective sheet except the shape which was die cut. I also placed some of the removed squares back to different places. Revealed tape was covered with Hanauma Bay glitter. After it was burnished in well, I removed rest of the protective sheet pieces and covered the tape with  Orange Surprise glitter. Entire layer was adhered in center of the cardstock with 1/4″ Double Sided Tear-ific Tape added to it’s edges. Those edges was covered with Hyacinth glitter.

Retro Puppy Girl

Hi! It’s so much fun to play with new stamps. In September Sparkle N Sprinkle revealed Puppy Girl stamp set 793. It is available as rubber and digital sets. digi version is the one I used on this card. I sized the image to fit my card, placed the sentiment next to it and printed them out. Image was colored with Promarkers.

Retro Puppy Girl

Don’t you just love this adorable little dog!? To make him even cuter, I added a fur to his body with Sakura Glue Pen and Elephant Gray Flocking. Electrified Yellow glitter was added with help of the Sakura Glue Pen to all bows. To make the dog nose shine I covered it with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Retro Puppy Girl

To embellish my card I added some White and Apple Green Nuvo Crystal Drops all around the card.

Retro Puppy Girl

I have to admit something… I am not a big fan of Neon colors. For some time I was afraid to use them. Neon colors are bright, glitter is sparkling, combination of something bright and sparkly seems too much. So silly of me. These glitters are awesome! The texture of them is wonderful – so soft to touch. And they are not too glittery. It’s almost like microfine version of Sparkle N Soft. I love them!
To make my card background, I adhered strips of 1/2″ Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to the card base, leaving little caps in between. Tape was covered with Exulted Pink, Energized Orange, Exhilarated Green and Electrified Yellow glitters. They are also available as a set – Donna’s Neon Glitter Set.

Retro Puppy Girl

Image layer is matted to a piece of cardstock which edges was covered with 1/4″ Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Black Suede Microfine Glitter. Mostly I use white cardstock for the matting layer. I just color edges of the paper with marker to mach the glitter. This way no white is peeking from the side.

Get Your Craft On

How are you everyone? It’s Eret here to share a card I made with a Get Your Craft On stamp #794.

Get Your Craft On

Image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored it with Promarkers. I added Sakura Glue Pen to both ends of the fabric? roll she’s holding and covered the glue with Merlot microfine glitter. Buttons are covered with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops to add some shine to them.  I cut out the image and left a narrow white border all round. It’s adhered to the card with Clear Foam Roll.

Get Your Craft On

Background was very fun to make. First I cut a pattern paper in little squares, inked their edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink, pierced the holes and draw a faux stitching lines with white gel pen. Then I covered piece of cardstock(slightly smaller then a card base) with a 2 1/2″ Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. I adhered all the pattern paper squares to the tape and covered rest of the tape with Merlot microfine glitter.

Get Your Craft On

For embellishments I used a bit of white lace and strip of Mon Ami Gabby Pearl Mesh. I also die cutted few buttons with Nellie Snellen Round Lily die out of white cardstock. I colored them with yellow marker and added a coat of Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drop. After it was dry I tied a piece of white thread through the holes.

Flower Cart

Hi! It’s Eret here from Estonia. Today I want to share a simple Thank You card I made with a Flower Cart #798 Digital Stamp Set.

Flower Cart

I printed out the image twice and colored one of them entirely with Promarkers. On second copy I colored only umbrella. To make the matting layer I covered piece of cardstock with 2 1/2″ Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and used largest die from Spellbinders Labels Sixty-Six to die cut it out. I adhered fuzzy cut image to the center and covered rest of the tape with Ocean glitter.

Flower Cart

I used Sakura Glue Pen to adhere the Bubble Gum glitter to the bow and ruffles. Umbrella is popped up with pieces of Clear Foam Roll. Clear dimensional tape is perfect for small places.

Flower Cart

Sentiment is also from the same digital set. I added some color to it with markers and cut the flag shape. I draw a lines around the edges with Sakura Glue Pen and Ocean glitter.

Flower Cart

Background pattern paper is covered partially with Versamark ink. I added Sparkle embossing powder on top and melted with a heat tool. Butterfly on the paper was ‘colored’ with Sakura Glue Pen and covered with Sunny Daze glitter.

Flower Cart

Two little butterflies are die cut out of Sticker Paper with Cheery Lynn Designs Mini Dimensional Butterflies set. They are covered with Sunny Daze glitter. It’s a very nice semi-transparant glitter. I love to make little butterflies with it. This glitter won’t be show as deep on the white paper. To make my butterflies brighter I added heavy coat of yellow color to the back of the Sticker Paper with marker. Color seeps through to front and after paper was dry I added the glitter to the sticky front.

Edges of the matting layer was covered with 1/4″ Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Ocean glitter.

Milton Catching Snowflakes

Milton is cutest giraffe ever! I colored him with Promarkers. His scarfs are covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Sonic Silver and Waterfall glitters.

Milton Catching Snowflakes

Milton Catching Snowflakes

To make the snowflakes I used MemoryBox Twilight Snowflakes dies. Snowflakes are die cut out from Sticker Paper. Some of them are covered with Sonic Silver and Cloud Nine microfine glitters. I also added a big dot of Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops to their centers.

Milton Catching Snowflakes

I added some sparkle to the background paper with Sakura Glue Pen and Cloud Nine glitter. Snowflake border is die cutted with Joy Crafts die out of Sticker Paper and it’s covered also with Cloud Nine glitter.

Hap-bee Birthday!

Hi there, Designer Shona here today to share a birthday card with you, created from the new Honey Bees Set 775.

Hap-bee Birthday

To begin with I cut the two corners of the square yellow cardstock with the honeycomb die from the Sizzix Mixed Media 660220 die set. The honeycomb image was then stamped a few times in Versamark and heat embossed with Black Detail in the other corners.

Hap-bee Birthday

The bee hive image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo black and was colored with Copics: Y13, Y17, E33, YR24, YR07, YG23, YG25. The image was then cut out with Spellbinders Hexagons.

Hap-bee Birthday

The honeycomb images were also colored using the same Copic markers as were the little bees that were also stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Black Detail.  A piece of Super Adhesive Sheet was adhered to the back of the corners and Black Suede Velvet Glitter was applied to the sticky surface. A yellow ribbon was then tied around the cardfront and attached at the back, before being layered to black cardstock.

Hap-bee Birthday

Green Iris and Energized Glitters were applied to the flowers and grass of the image with a Sakura Glue Pen. The entrance of the beehive was applied with Dimensional Glue and Green Iris Glitter. A larger hexagon was cut from black cardstock and the image was layered to that, before being attached to the cardfront with Dimensional Foam.

Hap-bee Birthday

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Black Detail. The small die from the Hexagon set was used, using the out of the box cutting technique, so that the sentiment would “hang” over the edges. Some Dandelion Memento ink was sponged on to the sentiment before removing the die. After cutting the fish tails, the entire piece was edged with Memento Black ink. This was also popped up with Dimensional Foam.

The cardfront was then attached to a yellow cardstock base.

Hope you’ve enjoyed my share today.

Mixed Media Frame

Hi! It’s designer Eret here with a mixed media project. I played with Want 2 Scrap chipboard, SNS glitters and embossing powders and with other fun products.

Mixed Media Frame

I’ll start with Want 2 Scrap Dress Form by Laurel Lane. It’s huge. It’s perfect for Scrapbook layout but not so good for a card maker. I hope I’ll remember  to check the measurements before ordering supplies next time. But I’m happy I made this mistake. Otherwise this mixed media project wouldn’t born 🙂
This Dress Form comes in two pieces: silhouette and intricate dress. I painted both of them with white Gesso and let them dry. Silhouette layer was covered with  Brushable Glue and Bubble Gum Glitter. Intricate layer was inked with Versamark ink. To the dress part I added White Detail Embossing Powder and to the leg Silver Detail EP. I applied two coats of EP for a better coverage. To decorate the dress I stamped feathers from Bird Song stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with markers. The ribbon was covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Bubble Gum Glitter. I also added Want 2 Scrap white pearls to the belt.

Mixed Media Frame

For the background I used left over piece from Want 2 Scrap Vintage Fancy Frames. I painted the Chipboard with white Gesso and let it dry. I added brick pattern with Want 2 Scrap Brick Stencil and Dreamweaver White Embossing Paste. Stenciling was left uneven. I also added brick pattern to the watercolor cardstock in same way. Embossing paste was added to some places with stiff brush. Everything was colored with  Gray Nuance water-soluble powder and Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist (Carribbean Blue and Crushed Shells). Watercolor cardstock was added behind the Chipboard layer holes.

Mixed Media Frame

One chipboard frame was used on this project. I covered it with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Silver Detail EP. I added another layer ink and EP for smoother look. While EP was still warm I added Velvet Sparkle EP on top and melted it with heat tool.
Sentiment is from Bird Song  set. It was stamped with Versamark ink to the white cardstock and heat embossed with Silver Detail EP. I inked the layer with Salty Ocean Distress ink. Birds are die cut out of black cardstock with Spellbinders die: Birds on Wire.  Layer underneath is inked with Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Detail EP and then with Velvet Sparkle EP. Frame is popped up with foam tape.

Mixed Media Frame

To add some greenery I used leaves I had left from another project. They were die cut with Spellbinders Sprigs die out of Sticker Paper and covered with Luau Green Microfine Glitter. Flowers are die cut with Spellbinders Hydrangea die out of white cardstock which was previously colored with marker to light purple. I cut some small white pearls from Want 2 Scrap Sleek Strips Pearls and adhered them to flowers centers.

Mixed Media Frame

One frame hole was covered from the back side with Embossable Clear Acetate. You can place a photo behind it. I printed out a  Digital version of Lucky Charm stamp and colored it with markers. For the ribbon I added Bubble Gum Glitter with Sakura Glue Pen.

Mixed Media Frame

On following photo you can see how the frame stand. Edges are covered with white satin ribbon. Only the place where the picture is entered is left as it is.

Mixed Media Frame

It was messy, time consuming and very fun project to make. I hope you like it.

Best Wishes

Hi! It’s designer Eret here. Lately I have playing a lot with digital stamps. They are fantastic. Here is a card I made with digi version DIGI771 from Poppies  #771 stamp set.

Best Wishes

I draw a circle in Photoshop and placed the poppies image in front of it. Image was resized to be slightly larger then the circle. I made another copy of the same stamp and printed them out. I used Promarkers for coloring and cut the circle and part of the flowers out with scissors. It’s like out of the box die cutting but much easier 🙂 Two of the flowers was fuzzy cut from the second copy I printed. They are popped up with Foam Tape. I added some Sakura Glue Pen to the flower petal and covered the glue with Fire Engine Red Glitter.

Best Wishes

Sentiment is also a digi from the same set. It is die cut with Oval die. I traced along the edge with Sakura Glue Pen and covered the glue with Fire Engine Red Glitter again. Oval is placed on top of the red label shape which was die ct with Spellbinders Label Eighteen die.

Best Wishes

It has been long time since I decorated the inside of the card. I used to love to do it with all my cards. Because this card was so simple I had an extra time to do it. I just printed a single flower from the same stamp set and die cut it with the Circle die. Edge of the circle is inked with Salty Ocean Distress Ink.

Best Wishes

Card base is die cut out of red cardstock with Scalloped Circles die. I added some pearls to decorate the card.

Best Wishes
