Winter Birdhouse

I have a ‘sparkle-y’ card to share with you today,

using the new stamp set Winter Birdhouse.

Winter Bird House

I started by laying my 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock

across my scor-board with the 11″ across the top.

Scor at 3 1/8″ and again at 8 5/8″.

Trim card length to be 5 3/8″ long.

Winter Bird House

It should look something like this.

Winter Bird House C

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink,

then colored with Copics.

The panel was then adhered to the left side of the card

with 1/4″ Tear-ific Tape,

sprinkled with Fire Engine Red glitter

and then using my ‘finger’ tool,

burnished in

Winter Birdhouse

For the left side of the card,

I cut a panel to fit,

then embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing snowflake folder.

Winter Bird House

Fire Engine Red glitter was added to the bird’s scarf and Santa hat.

Sparkle N Soft Sapphire Silk was added to the bird tail and wings.

The glitters were applied with Nuvo SM Glue Pen.

Winter Bird House F

All the ‘snow fluff’ you see was created using

Nuvo Glimmer Paste Moonstone.

I applied it quite thick to resemble snow.

I also added it to a few of the snowflakes.

You can just see a hint of the inside sentiment which is from

the set Eskimo Kisses.

Winter Bird House E

I hope you enjoyed my card today and

thank you for visiting with me!

Warm Wishes

Good morning everyone, it’s Belinda here this morning to share a card with you using the new Winter Bird House stamp set.

Winter Bird House

To get my card started I need to create my background panel.  Using the supplies in the below picture, Super Adhesive Sheets, Sparkling Sand Flocking and a embossing folder the panel was create.

Winter Bird House

Here is a finished background panel.  The soft sparkle is so pretty!!

Winter Bird House

Next the image was stamped and colored using Tombow markers along with Tattered Angel Pearl Mist instead of water.  This created a beautiful watercolor look along with some soft shimmer.

Winter Bird House

Sparkle was then added using Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Sparkling Snow and Waterfall glitter.  Small drops of Green Apple Crystal Drops were added to the bird feeder let dry and then Glossy Accents were placed on top of the Crystal Drops to give a glass look.  Drops of White Crystal Drops were added to the image panel.

Winter Bird House

The sentiment was stamped and glittered using Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Waterfall glitter.  Small branches were die cut using Heartfelt Creations die and a pull ribbon was added to the top right corner.  This is a beautiful stamp set, be sure to stop by the store to see all the new stamp sets.

Thanks so much for stopping by have a wonderful day!

Autumn Girlfriends

Hello friends!

 autumn-friends

Today I’m sharing a card I made featuring the Autumn Girlfriends Stamp Set #810.  I used the Digital Version – it prints off a pre-colored image – making it so easy to make your cards!

Here is the SNS Supply List:

Step 1

Print your digital image onto white cardstock (easy, right?).  After I printed it off, I cut it down to the size I wanted and then applied Orange Surprise Glitter to some of the leaves using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen.  I printed off some of the basket images and applied the Orange Surprise Glitter to them using the Glue Pen as well.  To make the baskets stand out a little more, I used the Nuvo Small Glue Pen to apply the Pebbled Copper Embossing Powder, then heat set.  It just added some cool dimension.

blogger-image-93063346

To enhance the lovely ladies on the card, I added some Elephant Gray Flocking to their hair, some Christmas Fire Embossing Powder to the red sweater and some Ballerina Microfine Glitter to the pink sweater (all adhered with the amazing Nuvo Small Glue Pen). The sentiment was printed off onto white cardstock and then trimmed to size.  I covered the entire piece of paper with Versamark Ink, then sprinkled on the Clear Detail Embossing Powder, heat setting.  Finally, I carefully sprinkled on some Orange Surprise Glitter and the re-heated the Embossing powder to adhere the glitter!

Step 2

I applied a row of 1/4″ Tear-ific Tape around the outside edge of my image.  After you remove the backing tape, gently apply your Copper Gilding Flakes and rub into the adhesive, brushing off the extra.  Don’t sneeze or else you will end up with gilding flakes EVERYWHERE! LOL
img_1195 img_1196 img_1194

Step 3

I did some layering for the background with orange cardstock and some patterned paper, then adhered the front panel – all secured with Tear-ific Tape of course!  A piece of orange ribbon was tied around the panel, then I added the sentiment & baskets using dimensional foam tape. The entire panel was adhered to the card base using Tear-ific Tape.

blogger-image-137959202

Finally, I added some embellishment dots using Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ripened Pumpkin and Dandelion Yellow.

I hope you enjoy this card and are inspired to make some wonderful fall creations!

Stella Call Me Witch

Hi, Diane with you today!

I have a bright, cheerful and fun Halloween card

to share that is super easy to make using

some very cool products and a new stamp set (Stella Call Me Witch) from the

Sparkle N Sprinkle store!

Stella Call Me Witch

I started out by cutting a 5 x 7″ black card stock base,

(which I later mounted on a slightly bigger green card stock).

Using a star stencil and Dreamweavers white embossing paste,

I embossed the black panel.

Stella Call Me Witch

White the paste was still wet, I covered it with

Margarita Velvet Glitter.

Stella Call Me Witch

It will look something like this…and don’t worry if you have a few

uncovered places, as you will be covering it up later anyhow.

Stella Call Me Witch

I set the panel aside to dry completely

and printed my digital stamp

Stella Call Me Witch, then colored her with copics.

Brushable glue was added to her ‘hair’.

Stella Call Me Witch

Sparkle N Soft flocking Blissful Blue was then sprinkled on the Brushable glue.

Stella Call Me Witch

While her hair was slightly drying, I used a circle punch,

coated it with glue, then added Electrified Yellow Glitter for a moon.

I added the digital sentiment (part of the stamp set)

to the moon.

A few bats were punched, then coated with Black Ice Glitter.

Stella Call Me Witch

For even more glittery goodness,

I outlined her hat and star first with Nuvo Glue Pen Small,

then added Reflection Velvet Glitter,

and her shirt with more of the Margarita Velvet glitter.

Stella Call Me Witch

A green bow and ribbon were added along with a

Sizzix Scaredy Cat die cut that was totally covered

with Nuvo Glue Pen Large and then sprinkled

with Black Ice Glitter.

That’s it, she is all done!

Stella Call Me Witch

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Retro Puppy Girl

Hi! It’s so much fun to play with new stamps. In September Sparkle N Sprinkle revealed Puppy Girl stamp set 793. It is available as rubber and digital sets. digi version is the one I used on this card. I sized the image to fit my card, placed the sentiment next to it and printed them out. Image was colored with Promarkers.

Retro Puppy Girl

Don’t you just love this adorable little dog!? To make him even cuter, I added a fur to his body with Sakura Glue Pen and Elephant Gray Flocking. Electrified Yellow glitter was added with help of the Sakura Glue Pen to all bows. To make the dog nose shine I covered it with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Retro Puppy Girl

To embellish my card I added some White and Apple Green Nuvo Crystal Drops all around the card.

Retro Puppy Girl

I have to admit something… I am not a big fan of Neon colors. For some time I was afraid to use them. Neon colors are bright, glitter is sparkling, combination of something bright and sparkly seems too much. So silly of me. These glitters are awesome! The texture of them is wonderful – so soft to touch. And they are not too glittery. It’s almost like microfine version of Sparkle N Soft. I love them!
To make my card background, I adhered strips of 1/2″ Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to the card base, leaving little caps in between. Tape was covered with Exulted Pink, Energized Orange, Exhilarated Green and Electrified Yellow glitters. They are also available as a set – Donna’s Neon Glitter Set.

Retro Puppy Girl

Image layer is matted to a piece of cardstock which edges was covered with 1/4″ Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Black Suede Microfine Glitter. Mostly I use white cardstock for the matting layer. I just color edges of the paper with marker to mach the glitter. This way no white is peeking from the side.

Puppy Girl

Puppy Girl 793

Anne here and for today’s card, I used the digi version of the new Puppy Girl stamp set just released. I printed the image twice. After coloring the image with Copic markers, I fussy cut out the puppy and the bow in the girl’s hair so that I could pop dot them on top of the main image for more dimension. Pan Pastels were used for the background color. The sentiment is part of the stamp set and I added a bit of color to the open spaces in the letters to emphasize the words “person” and “dog”.

Elephant Gray flock was added to the whiskers Puppy Girl 793on the pup and Neon Flamingo glitter was added to all the bows and the knee patch.

Puppy Girl 793

Seaspray glitter was used to decorate her top shirt as well as the frame around the image. Dimensional foam was also added to the frame. The frame is a Simon Says Stamp die cut (Stitched Rectangles).

The die cut bow on the bottom of the frame is by Poppy Stamps (Bow and String) and was covered with Neon Flamingo glitter. Once the glue was dry on this bow, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops (Ebony Black) to replicate the bows in the image.

If Kisses Were Snowflakes…

Milton Catching Snowflakes 787P6; Milton Catching Snowflakes Digi787b

It is Christmas In July at Sparkle N Sprinkle with all the new Christmas sets.  E. Marie here to share a card using the new Christmas set, Milton Catching Snowflakes.  This guy is adorable with his scarves and comes with four great sentiments.

Blizzard-SideView

I chose to create a “gap” card since I have seen so many great samples lately.  Most of these cards actually leave an actual gap between the top and bottom front sections, held together by an image or sentiment, but I chose to support this one with a piece of acetate.

Blizzard-Edging

After adding decorative cardstock on the top and bottom layers, Dimensional Glue was run around the edges and Twinkling Clouds Sparkle N Soft was added to look like snow.

Blizzard-CU

The image was heat embossed with Detail Black embossing powder and colored with copic markers.  Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter was added to the scarves and snowflake using a glue pen.  This was layered to the right side of the card.

Blizzard-Open

I used the digital version of this set to print the sentiment and layered this on the inside of the card so the sentiment would show in the open gap.  Here is a picture of the inside.  I added white layers on the inside top and bottom of the card front to make it look neater and cover any exposed adhesive from adding the acetate.

I know you will love playing with this card style and hope you enjoyed seeing this cute set.

Deer Duo

Hi, Diane with you today with an easy to do

gatefold card.

Deer Duo

I started first by printing then coloring in the

Deer Duo Digital 797 with Copics.

Once that was done I used a Memory Box Square Stitched die cut

Deer Duo

I added glue from a Quickie Glue pen to the antlers.

Deer Duo

Then quickly added Sparkle N Soft Sparkling Sands flocking

to give the antlers a bit of a ‘velvet’ look.

I also added Nuvo Glitter Drops Golden Sunset to

the deer noses.

Deer Duo

I set them aside to dry (overnight) and started working on the gatefold card.

The red card stock was cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, then scored at

2 1/8″ from either side.

The 2 white panels were cut 5 1/4 x 1 7/8.

I used a bone folder to get good creases in the base of the card.

Deer Duo

A Memory Box snowflake stencil was used

with Dreamweaver White Embossing Paste.

Sparkling Snow glitter was them sprinkled on.

These were also set aside to dry (overnight)

then I used the Glitter Brush to brush off all excess glitter

Deer Duo

Once dry each panel was adhered to the front of the

gatefold card.

Deer Duo

The sentiment was printed and adhered inside of the card.

Deer Duo

I added a tiny velcro dot to the left side of the image to hold the card flat for mailing.

Deer Duo

This card was very easy to make and also an easy mailer!

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Roses Squeeze Box

Roses 784

Anne here with a new post showcasing the single stemmed roses from the Roses stamp set revealed this month and the Tonic Studios Diamond Favour Squeeze Box.  The squeeze box die set has a whopping 17 dies included so that you can mix and match inserts as well as cutting edges.  When you squeeze the sides of this box, it opens up into a square so that you can fill it with some little goodies.

Rose Squeeze Box1 - SNS

I used some Super Adhesive Sheets and the kiss cut technique for each of the focal panels. After die cutting and removing the background area release paper, I covered the adhesive with Cloud Nine velvet glitter, burnishing it in with my finger tip. After removing the remaining release paper, I covered the adhesive with Sparkle N Soft flock (Glistening Emeralds) and burnished it in with my finger. These panels are so soft and smooth that you can’t help but run our fingers all over them.

For the Roses, I stamped both single stem roses that come in the stamp set, colored them with Copic markers, and then fussy cut each of them. I added a bit of Bubble Gum glitter around the edges of the petals.

The four triangular side panels were also die cut from a Super Adhesive Sheet. All were covered with Cloud Nine velvet glitter.

Rose Squeeze Box2 - SNS

On the back side, I used a different cutting edge for the center panel, but used the same kiss cut technique and products as the front panels.

The sentiment, which is part of the stamp set, was stamped with black ink and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder. I also used a Sakura glue pen to draw a fine line of glue around the edge of the die cut and added more Cloud Nine velvet glitter to give it a bit of sparkle.

This squeeze box is such a fun die cut and there are so many options for cutting it and so many ways you could embellish it. I think it would make a great treat bag or gift bag. It’s approximately 4 1/2″ tall once it’s assembled (and assembling is so easy.)
