(As published in Paper Crafts Interactive Cards by Annie's Attic)

Once you’ve
finished your first double slider card, you’ll be

Hooked!!!  The possibilities are endless.  Use as a party

Invitation,
or just as a fun, funky card with flair.

Let your
imagination go wild!

Materials:

  • Brown, Orange & Lime cardstock from DCWV

  • Your favorite white cardstock

  • Copic Markers

  • Black Memento Ink

  • Foam Tape or Dimensionals

  • White Pearl Sticker

  • Curved Rectangle Die Cut Set – Spellbinders

  • Grand Caliber (Spellbinders)

  • Orange & Lime ribbon

  • Stapler & colored staples

  • 1”
    Circle Punch – Punch Bunch

  • Stamp Set 255 – Golf-McDuff – Sparkle N Sprinkle

  • Tear-ific Double Stick Tape – Sparkle N Sprinkle

  • Plastic Bag

Instructions:

  • Cut brown Cardstock to 11” x 5 ½”.  Score at
    3 ½” – 7 1/16” – 10 5/8”.  Crease at each score point and fold inward.

  • Using a 1” circle punch, cut a half circle in the front panel top (see illustration 1).

  • Cut two pieces of white cardstock to 3 ¼” x 5 ½” each.  These are you “pull out” panels.  Stamp on the top of one and the bottom of the other.  Color images with markers.

  • Cut a 1” circle out of the lime cardstock for the pull tab.  Fold over the center of the top pull out
panel and attach it to the panel along with a piece of ribbon using the stapler.

  • Cut a piece of the plastic bag into a strip approx. 1” x 12”.  Wrap this around the center of the inside
panel and tape the ends together.  (see illustration 2).  Do not make it too
tight or too loose – you want a little play.  This is what will “move” your panels.
NOTE:  Be sure the taped seam is
in the center of the panel or your panels won’t pull correctly.

  • Your top pull panel will be attached with a piece of double stick tape on the bottom
of the plastic on the front side of the inside panel.  The bottom pull panel will be attached face
down to the top of the plastic panel on the back (or inside) of the inside panel.  This will make more sense if you have your
card folded in front of you.  NOTE:  Put the tape on the plastic only!  Test it to make sure it slides properly.

  • Place a strip of double stick tape on the outside (front) portion of the flap (see illustration 1).  Fold your card panels
to the inside.  Be sure to tape it together to the inside panel piece and make sure that your white pull out panel
is tucked underneath and not taped.

  • Stamp your front image onto a piece of white cardstock and cut into a rectangle 2 1/8” x 3 ½”.  Color the image with
    markers and attach to a brown cardstock panel 2 ¼” x 3 ¾”.

  • Cut out and emboss an orange piece of cardstock using the appropriate sized Curved Rectangles die.  Wrap the orange and
green ribbons around the orange piece – tie a bow on the right side and attach to the card base.

  • Attach the image panel to the orange piece using foam tape or dimensional

  • Add the pearl sticker on top of the golf ball.
