General Techniques

Embossing on Clear Acetate

Supplies Needed:

1.  Cut acetate to desired size.  Embossable acetate has one side that has a bit more roughness to it to hold the embossing powder.  This is the side you want to use.

2.  Bounce the Static Free Bag liberally over the acetate.  Acetate tends to hold alot of static electricity, so you want to be sure to get a good coating of the Static Free.

3.  Using a well inked Versamark Ink Pad, ink stamp and stamp on the acetate.  Add the embossing powder and heat.  Embossing powders tend to change faster on acetate so watch carefully.  Do not overheat the acetate, it can warp.
