Embossed Resist, Building A Scene by April Williams

You can create an amazing scene using Embossed Resist and Sponged Ink.

Supplies needed:

   1.  White Cardstock

2,  Clear Embossing Powder -- The sample used Sparkle EP

   3.  3 - 4 Ink Colors for Sponging - sample uses yellow, aqua and light

   4.  Ink Colors for Stamping - sample uses blue, green and purple

   5.  Black Ink for Edging

   6.  VersaMark Ink

   7.  Sponge

   8.  Paper Towel

First stamp the grass using VersaMark ink.  Then add the embossing powder and heat set.

Start sponging on the colors of ink starting with the lighter colors and going to the darker colors.  You can see that the embossed grass is resisting the ink.  If needed, you can wipe off any ink left on the grass with a paper towel.

Now go back and build your scene using other stamps and ink colors.

To finish the scene, sponge black around the edges.  The sample used a corner rounder and was layered on a card front.
