Have a coffee filter spread open on your table when you use glitters or embossing powders. It will catch the excess and make it easier to siphon particles back into its bottle. Coffee filters can be resued multiple times.

1. Use alcohol inks to create background on glossy cardstock (see Polished Stone Technique in Tips and Techniques). When dry, pat with static free and heat emboss ship image, using VersaMark ink and Cerulean embossing powder. Cut out with oval die, sponge edges with blue ink, and center on scalloped oval cut out of sticker paper. Add Bridal glitter to exposed scallops.
2. Add two strips of 2 ˝” Double Sided “Tear-ific Tape to white cardstock. Slowly remove sections of the backing paper and use a scrap piece of backing paper that has been punched with the border punch to edge one area at a time to add Blue Lightning, Bridal, Meteor Blue, and Blue Jewel glitters. Lower punched piece leaving different widths of waves. When completely covered, trim edges and layer on a white card base. Add image to the center of the card.
3. Stamp and heat emboss the Ship’s Wheel, using VersaMark ink and Cerulean embossing powder, and cut out the wheel section only. Stamp the sentiment in dark blue ink and cut out with a circle die. Layer sentiment in the center of the ships wheel and pop up on the card front with foam tape.
