Saturday we’ll draw from the names in the basket so our winner may choose a stamp set of their choice!

There are still some more card submissions to show, so be prepared to see more customer artwork in coming days.

Today we’re proud to display Sue’s “rendition” of Catherine from set 174 Hat Ladies using lovely shades of green – perfect for any time of year!

Currently, we’re in the process of revamping the Art Gallery, and replenishing cards with new samples. Watch for more ideas in coming months.

September Card Contest submissions like Sandi’s and Sue’s are beautiful reminders of how amazingly unique a stamp appears when utilized with different mediums and color combinations.

Both artists feature Danielle, from set 183 Hat Ladies, in different attire.

Sandi presents Danielle in her Spring/Summer finery, decked out with jewels, flocking, and the lightness of organza.

Ready for an Autumn Luncheon, Sue’s depiction of Danielle uses the shades of Fall which feel like suede, wool and leather.

Hi Stampers,  Have you noticed the interest in the Step Cards here at Sparkle N Sprinkle.  We have all been enjoying making these cards and have had requests from you on the specifics.  We heard you and have made a tutorial for you so you can enjoy these cards as well.  You can find the detailed instructions and pictures on the website here under Tips and Techniques.  You can find all the details of the card here.  You will also notice that Brenda used the Out of the Box Technique on this card as well, and we have add that tutorial from Julie W. to our Tips and Techniques as well.

Back to Judy’s lovely “wrap around” card, which is held together by a paper strip… Just like opening a present, cards often contain magical words to make someone feel better, congratulate them on special dates, or just to let them know they are thought of fondly. Try creating a card today which needs to be “unwrapped” to be read. The directions for Judy’s Sea Oats card may be viewed in our gallery here.

This month’s Video Kit Club is a fun embossing technique.  It looks like it has been bleached, but you don’t have the fumes!  Take a look at the video below, then click here for details on getting all the supplies to make 5 cards.  If you can’t view the video on the blog, you can check it out here.

I just got these new beachy punches and couldn’t wait to use them.  I cut a piece of Sticker Paper and punched around it, then embossed it with Hit the Beach.  That layer is so sparkly like the summer sands on the beach!   Then I cut the ovals out with the long oval Nestibilities and embossed the Sea oats with Hit the Beach also.  For the sentiment and shell I embossed with Amethyst Spray embossing powder.  The rest is pretty straight forward.
