Hi Everyone,

Today I’m showing off this wine themed card made with some products from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  Recently they released a couple of stamps sets perfect for any oenophile you may know.  Ha!  Like my big word?

These stamps came from the set Wine Tableau (449) and paired with the sentiment included in there, it makes such an elegant birthday card.  I embossed the glass with Clear Detail (EP280) embossing powder and colored the Chardonnay with my Copic marker.

Here is a closer photo of the gorgeous glitter named Florida Beach (G1111).  It does glisten just like some sparkling sand in the sun!

Hi Everyone,

I’m dropping in today with a card share made with the stamp set named Flower Vases (#265).  I just love all of the stamps in this set, but I particularly enjoy these flowers in the 4 Vases (728-265G).  If it’s cold and snow covered where you live, this bright card will surely chase away the winter blues. 

I chose my colors for them from the strip of patterned paper I used on the side and I backed the image with with some gorgeous Pretty Princess Glitter (G1109). So easy to use with the Sticker Paper (99558) from Sparkle and Sprinkle.   I love the vibrant color, it packs a lot of punch!

After the vases were colored with Copic markers, I used some Super Thick Clear Embossing Powder (EP230) on the vases to simulate the look of glass.  A great technique if you haven’t tried it yet.  The Missing You (850-265AA) sentiment is also from this same stamp set.  And as always, full details on how to make this card is in my gallery at Sparkle and Sprinkle.

Hummingbirds & Flowers

Happy Wednesday!  Today is reveal day for two new great Hummingbird Stamp sets that we had given you sneak peeks to…..aren’t they beautiful??  These sets are so much fun to color and glitter or emboss and there are so many sayings you can use it for so many different occasions.   Click on the stamp sets to purchase these sets.

The first card is using the Cracked Ice technique that April shared yesterday.  It gives it a vintage or antiqued look.

This second card was done with the Faux Bleach technique on the Tips and Techniques page.  The embossing powder is the Tuscany EP’s Sangria and Sangria Star, and the hummingbird has Moss Star and Tuscan Star added also for lots of sparkles.

They’ve  finally arrived!  

 Just in time to decorate those bottles of wine you’re taking as hostess gifts!  

Stamp Set 449 – Wine Tableau and Stamp Set 450S – Chianti

They’re just oozing with that Tuscan feel.  

Along with that there are 12 new Shades of Tuscany embossing powders that are a beautiful matte finish in earthy tones that evoke the hills of Tuscany.

That’s not all!   There are 12 more Stars of Tuscany in those same vibrant colors, but with that hint of glitz makes them pop when you need pop.

Here’s a card that I did using Set 450S – Chianti  with Moss Star EP430 and Mulberry Star EP427.  I just love these sets and the new embossing powders! 

All the little embellishments are perfect for adding a 3-D touch.

We had a great class last night at the Sparkle N Sprinkle Shoppe!!  We made these altered clipboards with acrylics and they all came out so nice, everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Since we are celebrating animals this month at Sparkle N Sprinkle, I thought I would show off another holiday card made with the delightful stamp set named Playful Pengies (438). All of the specific details for recreating my card can be found by clicking here, but I embossed the stamped background with the stamp Snow Flurries stamp (3555-438G) and Firecracker Red embossing powder (EP29) and added a dry embossed background on top of that.  It provided the perfect backdrop for the little Pengie in Hat (3554-438c)!
