Welcome to our Autumn Inspirations blog hop celebrating Fall’s Colors and themes!
It’s still hot here in the South, but we’re preparing for the lovely Autumn Season which brings scrumptious flavors and scents, and fun celebrations. Help yourself to some delightfully spiced apple cider stirred with cinnamon sticks, a little pumpkin pie, and some ginger snap cookies, and let’s get hopping!
A reminder that through the end of the month, the Sparkle Team presents all of the SNS Thanksgiving, Fall and Halloween stamps on special – 15% off! To view all our specials, including stamps, glitters, EPs, and other fine SNS products, just click here.
Important things first: The Grand Prize is a stamp set of the winner’s choice. As you visit each artist’s blog, there is the possibility of winning one of FIVE more prizes! It’s a secret though. No one knows who “Those Five” are, except for me, so be sure to leave a comment on each blog.
Hop runs August 25 & 26. Winners will be announced Saturday, August 27 between 11AM-3PM here on the SNS blog.
We hope you will enjoy viewing our cards as much as we did in creating them. To become eligible to win the Grand Prize, please leave a comment on each blog, and follow the directions on the last blog. Winners of the 5 “other-prizes” will be selected from the comments on the mystery designers’ blogs! (Yes, the possibility exists that you might win the grand prize AND secondary-prizes, so good luck!)
Leaving a heart felt comment inspires, motivates, and brings happiness to each designer! From the last blog, you will be directed to come back here and leave a brief comment about… (you’ll have to go there to see what the comment will be about).
HOW TO LEAVE A COMMENT: Are you new to blog hops? To find the comments section on each designer’s blog, scroll down to the bottom of that day’s post. The word COMMENTS possibly will be very tiny. Click on the tiny word COMMENTS. A box will pop up (or you may have to scroll down again). Write your comment (sign your name if leaving an anonymous comment). Perhaps one of those wonky SPAM preventer options will show up. Just type in the shown characters and click enter. That’s all there is to it. You will become an old hand in no time at all. Designers covet sincere comments left on their blogs. They share their artwork and hearts, hoping to inspire others. Visitors who leave comments, in turn, encourage and inspire the designers.
(If you absolutely cannot leave a comment for some reason, please e-mail SNS_Artist@tampabay.rr.com with your comment AND the name of the blog or designer you are commenting about).
Have fun!

I am always looking for tree stamps…they are my favorite to incorporate into any season or type of card!
I am ready to start the blog hop and can’t wait to see all the designs.
I am so Autmnly Inspired . What a wonderful array of stamps, techniques, glitters, embossing powders and back grounds. Love them all.
What a great bunch of cards. I would like to see more senic stamps with COPIC coloring in mind.
I have to say there are some great ideas and a lot of inspiration to work with on everyones blogs. You all did a great job. The style I look for varies with what I am doing, but I usually prefer simple images.
I really enjoyed seeing all the fall and Halloween inspired cards. I really love stamps with kids on them. I also really love your autumn set with the swirly tree.
First time I’ve ever done a blog hop. What great cards. Autumn is my very favorite time of year. I just love all the colors and scents. Can’t really say what I like best.
This is such a great hop! Can’t wait to see all the inspiration awaiting us. (Love the soft, gray kitty.)
I love blog hops! So many beautiful cards and great ideas. Thank you ladies for taking time to share your work!
Oops, had to get to the end of the hop to see the question you wanted us to answer. Personally, I’d love to see more harvest and Thanksgiving images and sentiments, especially. I tend to prefer the more detailed images. I also like making my own scenes by combining different stamps together into one, main image.
Love the fall stamps!
What a wonderful hop! Thanks to all the very talented ladies for their inspirations. I’ve definitely learned some new techniques today. I prefer autumn stamps (scenic, detailed or simple) rather than specific Thanksgiving Stamps that would be enhanced by glitter/embossing/flower soft etc., and that could be used together.

I so enjoyed the inspirational hop viewing all the beautiful Autumn creations the artists did. As for a favorite type of image I really like all types but do tend to go more with a simple scene image these days. This way I can leave it as it is or add more to it if I want it to be more intricate a scene design. I am just getting into Copics and love that but also like to work with the Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and with various dye inks and my sponges.
What wonderful cards from the DT — as usual! It is fun seeing what everyone has done. Great ideas. I like cute stamps for Halloween and more elegant, swirly stamps for Thanksgiving and Fall.
I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoy the SNS Blog Hops! As always, the “Ladies” are so inspirational. I can hardly wait to get started on my Halloween and Thanksgiving cards. A big “Southern California Groupie” thank you to all the Ladies for sharing. Big Hugs to All!
I loved all of the cards. Many great ideas. The styles of Autumn, Halloween and Thanksgiving stamps that I look for include fun sayings and images associated with the holidays. (Halloween and Thanksgiving). It is often difficult to find sentiments for the inside of cards. We spend a lot of time making the card fronts, and then struggle to fill the inside. Having a coordinating images, for front and inside would be helpful.
What a neat blog hop – so many great ideas. As for the kind of stamp I would like, I think a nice selections of harvest time items that could be put together in a number of different ways would be great.
What a fun hop! I enjoyed the variety of styles and themes. I like to see stamps of harvest nature in simpler images that can be colored with pencils or watercolor. Pumpkins are always great, but I tend to avoid the silly ones.

I, too like tree stamps, and also silhoutte stamps. I also thing funny-scary images are fun to send out on cards for Halloween as well.
Thanks for the fantastic blog hop ………. so many great ideas. I love finding sayings that I can use for my cards, such as the one that was used at the end ……… “My haunt or Yours”. It is always nice to have something to use on the inside of the cards.
Thanks for the awesome hop!! I got so many new ideas and techniques for my stamps and glitter! I fell in love with so many of them.. the trellis card, butterflies & sunflowers, Shona’s flower card, just to name a few! I made sure to leave comments on each one to let them know how great theri cards were and to thank them!! ANd thank you for sharing and giving us the chance to win!
I really enjoyed this blog hop. This is the first time I have left comments for each artist. The ladies presented so many different designs, and they all had qualities that I like and would like to use in my stamps this fall. I would really like to see more scene setters. I like to tell stories with my cards-especially the ones to my daughter , who is a wonderful card maker herself. I also like the glittery cards. I can never have too much glitter. Thanks to all the ladies for giving your heart and your time to this blog hop. I always love to learn new techniques, and the ladies have shared how to do new and wonderful things.
P.S. I had a lot of trouble finding the place to comment; it turned out that I was not on the right page. Thanks SNS for your patience and help.
I would like to see a nice bride and groom stamp set. I would also like a card size background stamp with a whole scene on it. Eample, sky, ground, trees, house. Something that would cover the whole card.

I would like to see children, cute sayings & harvest time items. I really loved all the cards in this hop. I especially liked learning of some new to me techniques.
I’m always looking for more scenes and sayings for autumn, Halloween and Thanksgiving-particularly sayings outside the usual pleasantries. Kudos to all Blog Hop hostesses-great ideas and inspiration all around!
Thanks for the fun hop. Great projects. I am always looking for stamps that I can color with markers or colored pencils. Sentiment stamps are nice also because my handwriting isn’t the best.
That was a wonderful blog hop. Lots and lots of great cards. I like scenes that are just a little spooky, cute phrases or words but not cutesy images. I could use a nice haunted house that isn’t too big.
I love autumn and all the colors it brings. I’m excited to see what everyone has created. I’m starting the hop now!
