Sparkle N Sprinkle & Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop!

by Donna Ellis on February 13, 2011

Hi Everyone! Today’s the big day for the Sparkle N Sprinkle (SNS) and Really Reasonable Ribbon (RRR) combined Blog Hop!! Join us for a look at bunches of ideas with lots of great products from both companies.  If you’re already “hopping along”; you should have arrived here from True’s blog.  If you haven’t joined the hop yet, you’ll want to go back to our first stop at the RRR blog & follow along so you don’t miss any of the great designs! And don’t forget, you can win some great products too!  (There’s great blog candy from both RRR & SNS to be given away; so make sure to leave comments as you go to qualify for the prizes!)

Now, on to my projects. In addition to working with all our great products here at Sparkle N Sprinkle; each designer was also given the beautiful February Ribbon Club Assortment pack from Really Reasonable Ribbon to work with. It’s such a great spring assortment of colors, textures, widths, & styles – make sure you check that out on the RRR site! There’s so many great projects for you to see on this hop; so I won’t go into too much detail; but here’s three fun projects I really hope you’ll enjoy:

First is a great Easter card featuring our very popular Star Bunnies- set 214 combined with a couple stamps from Easter Eggs- set 259.  Bright & colorful; it coordinates beautifully with Yellow Diamond Satin from RRR.  For all the directions for this card, go to our gallery & get the details. (By the way, don’t miss the special tip there for how to make that neat rounded stamped carrot border!)

The second card combines die cuts with our great new Spring Swirl- set 425 for a simple but fun & versatile watering can suitable for either a card, a gift tag, or even a gift bag decoration! And don’t you just love that springy (literally) RRR ribbon bow of Tulip Printed & Vertical Striped Grosgrain ribbons on the handle? Directions for how to make that springy bow are with the card directions in our gallery (insert gallery link) or on the RRR website as well (Korker bow).

My last design also focuses on our new Spring Swirl- set 425 & uses the Vertical Striped Grosgrain ribbon as the perfect way to add more dimension to your card.  Just trim off those stamped kite tails and use ribbon to make the “real thing”.  And the colors of the RRR look so great with the Morning Glory & Princess Rose embossing powders. They’re so bright & sparkly & can even be picked up in our Spring Essentials embossing powder assortment for a little extra savings. These dancing kites are so light & fun; it’s a card sure to make anyone’s day & all the details can be found in the gallery.

Well, I sure hope you’ve enjoyed my cards!  Don’t forget to leave a comment; I’d love to hear from you!  Now hop on over to Linda’s blog to continue on in our SNS & RRR blog hop. And don’t forget to leave comments as you go to qualify for prizes – best of luck winning the RRR blog candy  or the SNS Mystery blog prize!

Happy Stamping!

Love the clouds with the silver sparkle, the curled ribbon on the teapot. Great idea doing a combined blog. I’m now in a sparkle mood!
