Pink Ribbon Joseph’s Coat & Contest Deadlines approaching!

by Jill Jacobsen on August 25, 2010

I’ve been having fun playing with the Joseph’s Coat Technique!  I hope you have been too:)  If you don’t know how to do the technique see our video here in our Tips & Techniques pages.

For this one I used the Pink Ribbon Background and Ribbons for the Cure.  I started with the Parfait Spectrum pad and did a black ink on top.  I also used a paper punch on black glossy cardstock for the layer behind it, and ran the ribbon through it.  For the oval panel, I stamped and embossed with Black Detail, then inked on some pink dye ink, and colored the hearts, I cut it out with the Deckled Ovals from Nestibilities.  The pink background is stamps with one of the words stamps in the set, then I stitched the edges on the sewing machine.

We’d love to see your cards using the Joseph’s Coat Technique! How about trying it with our stamps and submitting it for our September Card Contest?

The deadline is almost here! August 27 (Friday!) It’s our GUESS-WHAT’S-HAPPENING-IN-OCTOBER contest! Details here! It’s fun! It’s simple! It’s perplexing! LOL Bet’cha can’t guess!

Stamping hugs,

Jill & Donna
