Cracked Glass Wild Rose

12-27-09_0330I like the antinque look of cracked glass, and this technique comes pretty close.  I stamped the Wild Rose with Stazon and colored it with Copic Markers.  Then I cut it out with Nestibilities and covered the  cardstock with Versamark and embossed it with Super Thick Clear embossing powder, I did this two times, then I placed it in the freezer for about 5 minutes.  Then take it out and gently bend it to crack the embossing powder, do this until you are satisfied with the cracking, if you need to put it back in the freezer you can.  Then rub a brown dye in with a dauber into the cracks and wipe it off with a paper towel.

Happy Stamping,

Jill
