For many years I believed that I had no artistic ability and I was too busy raising a family to find out; however, my niece insisted that I learn about rubber stamping. I started creating simple greeting cards and was overwhelmed by the compliments I received so I signed up for all the stamping classes at our local stamp store and went to a stamp convention. It was then that I knew, “I had a dream and you would be part of it”. George, my husband, supported me and realized that he could actually be part of “my dream” by using his carpentry skills to design and make convention display units and helping out in numerous ways at the shows. Then “It became OUR dream and now you are part of it”. All of this happened in California; since then George and I have relocated to Florida and our business continues to grow. With continued growth to more accurately reflect our image, we changed our name from Stamp’N Around to Sparkle N SprinkleTM in 2005.
We now have several artists from all over the world working for us. We carry over 1,000 images and our stamps are available mounted on wood, rubber on cushion or rubber only. They are sold individually or on a plate with other related images.
Sparkle N SprinkleTM also offers over 250 specially formulated embossing powders and glitters in many different sizes and combinations. We also feel that we have the answers for stampers who buy unmounted stamps since we sell cushion and static cling for mounting images and acrylic blocks for stamping them. Just ask and we’ll tell you an easy way to stamp and categorize them.
In 2002 we made a DVD and VHS tape about “Acrylic Art” and have been teaching it at conventions and in our stamp galleries at our website ever since. We offer a variety of different sized acrylic pieces to use as embellishments for cards and scrapbooks, sun catchers, jewelry, pins, ornaments, etc.
Our staff of designers is comprised of people from all over the world; you may view their creativity in our gallery on our website. All of our designer artwork has complete instructions so you can duplicate the designs or learn new techniques. We also have a “Tip & Technique” section on the website which gives examples and instructions.
I also encourage you to sign up on our e-mail list so you receive our eNewsletter on the first of every month; it contains information about our monthly sales, quarterly contests, new products, tips and techniques, upcoming stamp conventions, and lots more. It’s completely free and your e-mail address will never be given or sold to anyone.
I sincerely hope you join our ever growing family of addicted stampers and scrapers.
